About Dunfermline City

Dunfermline City Hockey Club is a social and charitable organization that promotes affordable hockey in the city of Dunfermline. Currently, we only have one team, which is an adult men's team that plays in East League Division 3. If you are a male aged 14 or above and are interested in playing hockey, please contact us as we are always looking for new players. Match Report - 15 Oct 2022, Dunfermline City Hockey Club Dunfermline City First Team lost to Fidra Lions 2s


City due to illness ended up with just 10 players at the start. And due to family emergency lost Ryan Green just before half time so ended up playing the majority of the game with 9.

CIty were however one up early on - Pat Forrester scoring a deflected goal. CIty just before half time when Fidra scored however it was controversial as a free hit was awarded and ultimately taken 10 yards from where it should - causing City to pause and allow the goal.

Second half was tough but City still had chances - however Fidra managed to sneak a late goal to win.

This was not a bad display considering it was a opposition included 5 first teamers due to the school hols.
