About Dunfermline City

Dunfermline City Hockey Club is a social and charitable organization that promotes affordable hockey in the city of Dunfermline. Currently, we only have one team, which is an adult men's team that plays in East League Division 3. If you are a male aged 14 or above and are interested in playing hockey, please contact us as we are always looking for new players. We do not currently have any U14 teams or ladies teams, so if you are interested in playing at those levels, please visit the website of the Dunfermline Carnegie Hockey Club.

Kevin Walker Community Shield Saturday 30th August

Dunfermline City's annual tournament the Kevin Walker community shield takes place on Saturday 30thth August at Woodmill High School, Dunfermline.

3.15 Presentation

 

Games are 25minutes each way with a 5 minute turnaround between each game.   Teams should provide umpires for the fixtures noted above.

 

3 points for a win

2 points for a score draw

1 point for no scoring draw

1 additional point for each goal scored

 

In the event of a tie on points, the following criteria will decide the winner.

 

  1. Result between the teams
  2. Goal difference
  3. Goals scored
  4. Penalty flick contest

 

There is no entrance fee to the tournament however a donation on the day to the British heart Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
