Citys 2s go down fighting V Edinburgh Uni

10 Nov 2012

Citys twos were very much underdogs for this tie.  Edinburgh Uni 3′s are undefeated in the regional leagues while City 2′s have yet to win a game this season.

City kept the uni at bay until the 12th minute – and at half time were only 4 down – and did have a couple of goaling scoring opportunities.

In the second half City defended stoutly again – but still lost 5 more goals but did manage to score two good goals in this mis match.

Full report to follow – however skipper Swinton can be proud of his boys fight in this encounter.  They never gave up and kept fighting and merited their two goals against the higher opposition.
