City's sides both lose by two goals

11 Oct 2014

Dunfermline City twos were first up on Saturday at Woodmill against Fidra 2's.
Fidra fielded a large proportion of their first team while City had a full 2's eleven out. City fought hard in a game where the would have been expected to be on the back foot for the majority of it and were unlucky to lose by 2 goals to nil.

City ones were then up against Grange 6's in Edinburgh - where Carney Martin made his debut following his signing from Carnegie. This was an even game - which was tied 1.1 with five mintutes to go. Grange struck twice late on to win 3.1.  City's goal came from a good strike from Craig Darling.

If both sides give similar performances next weekend they should end up with some points in the bag.
